This is a group SAMPLE page. Mr. Kafka will post examples here you can follow as you develop your Podcast

TIPS:

  1. Since you are publishing to the internet, only use your FIRST name
  2. Your SEGMENT proposal should be at least 5 sentences explaining your segment idea in detail. Anything less than 5 sentences tells me you haven't thought through how your segment will go. Be DETAILED!
  3. NEW: We'll be creating this in a Google Doc (this will be explained in class on Tues 11/9)

SEGMENT WRITE UP

  • 2 Segments need to be about FOREST PARK
  • 1 Segment can be about something related to your age group or something outside of school that students like (music review, movie talk, a place that kids hang out at, technology talk)

Segment 1: Basketball Coach Interview
By: DAVID
I am going to interview Coach Sievert on what it's like to coach the girls' basketball team. Questions I plan to ask are:
  1. How long has he been coaching?
  2. What is his favorite thing about coaching?
  3. What is his biggest challenge as a coach?
  4. How has the team been doing this year?
  5. What are some of his plans for the program for the future?

I will also get a quote or two from some of the girls on the team.

Segment 2: Gum Policy
By: PETER
I plan to do a story on the gum policy at Forest Park. I will get comments from students and staff on what the gum policy is and how it works. I want to make sure to get comments from people who are FOR and AGAINST gum in the classroom so I present both sides of the story. I want to make sure to not get any quotes from anyone that is bashing what one teacher does over another teacher. My hope is to show why the gum policy is the way it is at Forest Park.

Segment 3: Movie Review
By: GEORGE
I am going to review two movies that are at the theater right now. Those two movies are MEGAMIND and INCEPTION. I will give a brief overview of each movie's plot and talk about what I did and didn't like about the movie. I will warn people before I dive in to each movie that I might be giving away "spoilers" for some of the movie's key scenes. I will also get a comment or two from other students that have seen these movies and if they liked or didn't like the movie.
